My Story

I'm Jo Brew, a 55-year-old bus driver from Brisbane, Australia with over 30 years as an independent musician. I've played countless shows, released albums, and experienced firsthand the catch-22 that keeps talented artists stuck in their local scenes and/or struggling to find an audience.

You need audiences to book shows in new cities. But you need shows to build audiences. Venues won't take a chance on you without "proven draw." It's a cycle that's been keeping amazing artists trapped for decades.

So I decided to build the solution: MuSeek—a platform that lets fans vote to bring artists to their cities. When you hit the threshold, you've got proof of demand. No more playing to empty rooms. No more guessing where your fans are.

I'm building this while working full-time, learning to code with no-code tools, and documenting the entire journey on YouTube. Because if a bus driver in her 50s can build a tech startup, anyone can.
